What is 'gold plated' jewellery? As the consumer it's important to ask yourself what metal is being plated. Reason being, many companies don't openly share this. This means your gold-plated jewellery is likely to be coating a brass/copper base metal. 

Despite being a somewhat durable metal, it is inexpensive to manufacture and causes allergic reactions when exposed to the skin. 

We promise 100% transparency and will only use pure metals in production.

All orders are packaged in our special &LALA gift box. You will always receive a suede pouch, in which we advise you store your pieces.

Below are some helpful tips to keep your &LALA jewellery sparkling:

- Always store your jewellery separately, preferably in your suede &LALA pouch.

- Remove jewellery before washing/swimming or exercising.

- Be careful not to spray chemicals on your jewellery, such as perfumes, body sprays, tanning products, body oils or makeup.

- Get into the habit of cleaning your jewellery. We advise you use a cotton pad, or micro fibre cloth to gently dry rub away any residue.

- For a deeper clean, we suggest soaking your earrings in a soapy warm water solution (We advise you stay clear of any antibacterial soaps, as this may affect the gold plating). Gently dry, and store in your &LALA pouch provided.

We understand not all gifts work out - For this reason, we are offering an extended time period for all Christmas gift exchanges. This is 35 days from the order date.

It is your responsibility to send the items back to us. Once we have reviewed and approved the exchange (that there are no visible damages) we will dispatch your exchange item(s).

If the exchange item exceeds the original value, it is your responsibility to pay the difference. If it is lower than the original value, we will credit back the difference back to the original payment method.
